~ Hold God's Way with Both Hands ~

There are only two main 'Ways' to Live Life. 
Either God's Way, or the devils way.

The Bible often refers to the devils way as 'the worlds way'. 
People have given it many different names such as Secularism, Culture, Society, Cults, Community, Atheism, and many other names.

The Truth is, if it's not God's Way, then it's the devils way.

Everybody knows that there is Good and evil, Right and wrong. 
There is No 'In-Between Ground'. There's only Two Ways to Live Life.

God Loves You very Much, and He wants You to Live the 'Right Way'.
This is for Your own Benefit, and for the Benefit of others.

So God Wrote 'His Way' of How to Live Life on 'Two Stone Tablets' and gave them to Moses.

Known as 'The 10 Commandments', (or as I like to think of them, 'God's 10 Loving Guidelines'), these are literally God's Guidance of 'How to Live Life'. 

(~ Just as a note to clarify the Commandment that says 'Honour your Mother and Father'. This is only required when the Mother and Father is Teaching the child to Live 'God's Right Way'. If a 'So Called' mother or father Teaches a child to Live in the 'wrong way', then obviously God will Not require You to Honour them). 

God Wrote down 'His Way' so we know the 'Right Way' to Live.

The 10 Commandments (or God's 10 Loving Guidelines) are the Only known writings that God Wrote with 'His Own Finger'. 

So they are obviously Very Important.

When Jesus was Physically on earth, He Lovingly summed up All of The 10 Commandments into 'One Easy to Understand' Commandment, known as 'The Greatest Commandment', (or as I like to think of it, God's Greatest Loving Guideline), which is,

“Love the Lord Your God with All Your Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength”. 
(Mark 12:30). 

When You 'Do' that, You will Naturally want to Live 'God's Way', and Fulfil 'The 10 Commandments'. 

Many people Do Live 'God's Right Way', and they Enjoy Living a Very Meaningful Life and Achieve Great things for God.

There are also Many people who 'want' to Live 'God's Right Way', but they keep being 'Misled' by 'the worlds way, (the devils way). 

So How do You Avoid being 'Misled' ? 

God Revealed this to me whilst I was reading Deuteronomy in the Bible.

I was reading Chapter 9, which had mentioned how God had wrote with “The Finger of God” the Words which “The Lord had Spoken” to the people.

He wrote them on “Two Stone Tablets” and gave them to Moses.

At that point the people had 'Turned Away' from “The Way” that God had Guided them to Live, and they “Acted Corruptly” by making an 'image'  to worship, (which is Disobeying the 2nd of The 10 Commandments). 

God asked Moses to quickly go down from the Mountain to the people.
He was carrying the 'Two Tablets' as he went down.

As I read Verse 15, a sentence 'Stood Out' to me in a Very Strong way.

It was Moses speaking and he said, 
“The Two Tablets of the covenant were in my Two Hands”. 

It Really Stood Out to me that he had Specifically said “In my Two Hands”. 

Usually when someone is describing carrying something, they would say, “In my Hands”. 

But Moses made a point that the “Two Tablets were in his “Two Hands”. 

I wondered what the meaning of that was. So I asked God to Guide me.

This is what came to me,

“When You Hold God's Way in 'Both' of Your Hands, then You can't get Confused or Misled by 'Someone Else' putting 'Their Way' into Your Hands”. 

WOW, that's Powerful.

Hold God's Way in Both of Your Hands.

It doesn't mean to literally Hold it with Physical Hands.

It means to 'Hold God's Way with Both Hands'
Deep in Your Heart, Mind and Soul.
And Hold On to 'God's Way' with All Your Strength.

Think about it, if You Hold God's Way with only 'One Hand',  You will leave Your other Hand available for Anybody to put 'Their Way' of Living into it.

Then You will have a problem, because You would then have Two Different 'Ways' to Follow.

If You leave One Hand Open, you can be certain the devil will Fill it. 

And he will use 'Lies & Deception' to make it 'Seem' like that 'Way' is better than God's Way.

The devil will use 'his followers' to Trick You into Following 'the devils way'. 

He will even use people who Pretend to be Believers to 'Mislead' You.

 'Beware, the Fakes are Everywhere'. 

The Only way to Not be 'Misled' is by 'Firmly' Holding God's Way with Both Hands, and Never Letting Go.

When You Hold God's Way with Both Hands, then Nobody can 'Mislead' You by putting 'Their Way' into Your Hands.

A great way to understand this is to Imagine going in to a Maze.
(A Maze is described as 'a complex network of Paths forming a puzzle, through which you need to find the 'Right Way' to reach the Goal'). 

There are Lots of 'Ways' to Follow in a Maze, but 'Only One Way' leads to the Goal. 

Imagine the Creator of the Maze gives You a 'Guide' that shows You which 'Way' will lead You to Your Goal.

If You Hold the Guide 'In Both Hands' and Follow the Guidance, You will reach Your Goal.

Now Imagine if You only Hold the Guide with 'One Hand', and 'Someone Else' puts a Different guide in Your 'Other Hand', and tells You it's a Quicker Way and it's a more Fun Way.

It would cause 'Confusion' because You would have Two Different people saying Two Different Ways to go.

And if You Choose to Follow the 'other way', then You would be 'Misled' and end up going 'Round & Round' in Circles, and coming to 'Dead Ends'. 

That's Exactly what 'the devil' wants You to be doing in Your Life.

He doesn't want You to 'Achieve' the Wonderful Life that God has got 
Planned for You.

The devil wants to 'Mislead' You so You end up Wasting Your Life going 'Round & Round' in Circles, and reaching 'Dead Ends'. 

But God has a Better Way for You to Live.

A Life that's Full of Excitement, Joy, and New Adventures.

A Meaningful Life where You 'Achieve' Great things for God, and Fulfil Your Purpose that God Created You for.

You are Very Special to God,
and He has Many Wonderful Blessings Planned for You.

But you need to 'Hold On to God's Way with Both Hands'.

Don't risk Missing Out on God's Wonderful Plan for Your Life by Holding God's Way with only 'One Hand'.

The devils followers are Everywhere, and they will take Any Opportunity You give them to 'Mislead' You if You leave One Hand Open.

God could have Wrote 'The 10 Commandments' on just One Stone Tablet. But then Moses would of had an 'Open Hand', and 'Someone Else' could of 'Misled' him with 'Their Way'.

God has a reason for Everything He does, and its Always a Good reason.

You can Completely 'Trust His Way'. 

God's Way is the Best ~ Close Your Hands to the rest.

So 'Love the Lord Your God 
with All Your Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength', 

and

Firmly Hold God's Way with 'Both Hands'. 

~ Doing Good ~

The Bible Guides us to 'Do Good'.

It's mentioned many times, so it's obviously Very Important to God.

When You and I 'Do Good', it Pleases God.

And the Bible says that God will 'Bless those who Do Good'.

When we 'Do Something Good' that's for other people, it can often make them 'Feel Good', as well as Pleasing God.

My Wife & I recently Experienced someone 'Doing Good' for us, and it made us 'Feel Very Good'. 
And I'm Sure it would have made God 'Feel Good' and Pleased Him. 

We needed some repair work doing on our vehicle, so I looked on the internet for a mechanic who could do it.

Our vehicle is nearly 30 years old and it can be quite tricky to find parts for it, and to find a mechanic who is willing to work on it.

God Guided me to the right part that we needed (online), so I ordered it.

I found 2 mechanics who said they could do the repair work. 
They were both located at the same industrial estate, but at Different garages, about 150ft apart.

One of them said he could only fit us in next week, and the other mechanic said he could only do it in 2 weeks, as they were both Very Busy.

We needed to get our vehicles MOT done in 2 weeks  (the legal annual vehicle safety check), so we decided to go with the mechanic who could fit us in next week to make sure it was repaired in time for the MOT.

I phoned him back up and asked if we could book it in for next week. 

He said “Yes”, so I asked what day and time was best for him.
He said “Just drop it off any time after 8am on Wednesday”. 

The part arrived, and my Wife & I took it with our vehicle on Wednesday morning.

When we arrived there was Lots of cars parked outside the garages, so we needed to drive around for a while to find somewhere to park.

As we drove past the garage, we could see a mechanic watching us and looking quite agitated
He pulled out a notepad and was franticly looking through it.
Then he was on his phone looking like he was panicking.

We found somewhere to park and walked over to the mechanic who was now standing behind some machinery and seemed as though he was trying to hide.

He just stared at us.

So I Politely said, “Hello, we're booked in for a part to be fitted”. 

He then said with a Very Cold Hearted, Can't Be Bothered type of Attitude, 
“Oh I forgot about that”. 

I said, “I phoned last week to booked in, and you said to drop it off today any time after 8am”. 

The mechanic then said, “Yeah I forgot to write it down”.

He then said in a Very Abrupt and Dramatised voice, “I can't do it today, I'm too busy. I've got got 2 cars on the ramp and another 6 out there that I've got to do. I'm too busy to do it today”.

He then started muttering and complaining and walked off saying, “I'll have to see when I can fit it in”. And he went checking his notepad.

I thought to myself, 'Even if he can fit us in, I Don't want someone like that working on our vehicle'.

I said it to My Wife, and she said she was thinking the same thing.

While he was checking his notepad, I felt God 'Guiding' me to go to the other mechanic at the other garage that I had phoned the week before.

When the mechanic came back from his notepad, I Politely said to him, “We'll leave it and find someone else who can do it”. 

As we walked away my Wife Kindly said to him,”I Hope everything goes well with all the cars you need to repair”. 
He looked quite surprised.

We walked up to the other garage and explained to the mechanic what had happened.

He said he'll see what he can do, but he was Really Busy as well. He didn't say it in a Dramatised way like the other mechanic did, he just said it like he meant it.

We could see 3 cars being worked on up on the ramps, a van parked at the entrance, and Lots of cars in the car park, so we could see he was Very Busy.

I explained that I had phoned him the week before and he had said he could only do it in 2 weeks, so we decided to go with the other mechanic as we needed it repairing before the MOT.

He remembered I had phone, and he said in a Friendly voice, “Let me have a look at the vehicle so I can see how long it will take”. 

We walked over to our vehicle and he looked under the bonnet, then went back to the garage.

He stood Thinking for a moment. I could tell he wanted to Help us, but he was struggling with how to do it as he was so busy.

He then said, “Ok, leave it with me. When I get a gap in between jobs, I'll squeeze it in. I can't promise it will be today, but I'll do my best. If not today it will be tomorrow”. 

My Wife & I Thanked him, and said we Really Appreciate his Help.

As we left the garage, it had made us 'Feel Really Good' that someone was Willing to go out of his way to Help us, even while he was Really Busy.

We said a Big Thank You to God, and asked God to Help the mechanic whilst repairing our vehicle, and to Help him wherever he needs it with working on the other vehicles.

We went back to the house and waited for the mechanic to phone. It got to about 5.15pm.
The garage was about 30-40 minutes away from where we were, and they said they closed at 6pm.
So I phoned to see how things were going in case we needed to set off soon to get there before they close.

The receptionist checked and said it's on the ramp, but it will be tomorrow before he can finish it. 

I said, “Ok that fine, we understand he was very busy, we Appreciate him doing it for us”. 

I told my Wife and we rearranged our plans for the next few days, as we had quite a few things that we needed to do and had already planned them.
We needed to change our plans, but we were just Very Grateful that the mechanic was Kindly repairing it that week, before the MOT.

Then just after 6pm the phone rang.
It was the mechanic, and he said in a Jolly voice, “Your vehicles ready, you can come to pick it up”.

I was quite surprised and said, “Oh that's Brilliant, Thank You, Thank You Very Much”. 
I explained that it would take about 30-40 minutes for us to get there though.
He said, “That's ok, I'll be here till 7pm ish”.

When my Wife & I got there, the van that was parked at the entrance to the garage was still there.
The mechanic told us he had rearranged to do the van tomorrow so that he could repair our vehicle today.

That's 'Real Kindness'. 

He didn't have to do that. He could have said he was too busy. But he rearranged things to Help us. And he didn't charge a fortune.

That's 'Doing Good'. 

It made my Wife and I feel 'Very Good'. 
And by the Joyful look on the mechanics face, it had made him 'Feel Good' that he had Helped us.
I'm Sure it will have made God 'Feel Good'. 

'Doing Good Always Creates Good'. 

We gave the mechanic some Chocolate and a Journeying with Jesus Book as a 'Thank You Gift' for his Kindness. And we said many times we 'Really Appreciate' his Help.

When we got back to the house we Prayed and asked God to Bless the mechanic with Something Very Special. 
We Truly Believe that God will Wonderfully Bless him.

And we said a Very Big Thank You to God for Blessing us by Guiding & Helping us with what to do when the first mechanic had let us down, and for Blessing us with our vehicle being repaired in the same day and we didn't need to change our plans.

The Bible says in (Romans 8:28) that, 
“All things work together for Good to those who Love God”. 

We Sincerely Love God.
And God made Everything work together for Good, to Help & Bless us.

WOW, God is Truly a Wonderful & Loving God.

God wants to Bless 'You' with His Wonderful Loving Kindness. 

The Bible says in (Galatians 6:9) 
“Let us not become weary in Doing Good”. 

'Love God & Do Good'.

The Truth is, even when You're Busy, You can still 'Do Good'. 
And God will Bless You for it.

There are Many ways that You can 'Do Good'. 
Whether it's something big or small, 
Every 'Good Deed' is Special to God.
Simply ask God to Guide You, and Follow His Guidance.

When it comes to 'Doing Good',
And You Do what Jesus Would,
Then You'll be 'Doing Good'.
