Fundraising Appeal.

‘Journeying with Jesus’ is part of our small ‘Charitable Organsation’ called Pure Joy that my Wife & I set up in 2012.

Over the years we have run a variety of Creative Projects & Activities through Pure Joy all aimed at Helping people Experience & Discover God’s Peace, Love & Joy.

These include:

  • The Chocolate Church.
  • Helping the Homeless.
  • Pinetum Peace.
  • Faith Like a Tree.
  • Nature’s Peace & Joy.
  • Nature’s Faith.
  • and More

It’s always been our Plan to set up and run a Retreat in the Beautiful Scottish Countryside where we can run all of our Projects & Activities as well as More Great Plans.

God has Given us a Dream that is far Bigger than we Ever could have imagined. The Dream God Gave us is:

To Create a Place of Complete Peace, to Experience & Discover Life on Earth how God Originally Intended.

The Vision is for:

A Place where Every Individual is Valued as One of God’s Wonderful Creations, whether a Person, a Tree, a Bird, or a Bee, All of God’s Creations are Precious and of Great Worth.

A Place where People Cares for Nature, and Nature Cares for People ~ God’s Way.

A Place to ‘Be at Peace’ with God, with Nature, and with Yourself.

Our Mission is to:

Help Restore Peace & Harmony between People, God and Nature.

To Achieve this we have needed to find the Right Place to set up and run Pure Joy Retreat.

We’ve taken our Responsibilities Very Seriously as this is a Very Important Dream that God has Trusted us with.

We’ve spent many years looking for the Right Place as it needs to have some very Specific elements for the Dream to be Fulfilled. We faced Many Obstacles & Difficulties, and we Experienced Many Set Backs, but we Continued to Strive to Fulfil God’s Will.

When God ‘Led’ us to Glen Lonan in Scotland, we Knew we had Found the Right Place.

The Country House & Grounds in Glen Lonan, West Highlands of Scotland is a Truly Unique & Beautiful Place.

From here we will be able to run all our projects & Activities as well as many New & Exciting Plans such as:

  • The Original Garden of Eden Experience.
  • Creativity of Craftsmanship.
  • Natural & Inspiring Nature Gardens.

As with any Meaningful Dream, there is always a Major Obstacle that gets in the way, that is Funding.

Would you like to Help Remove that Obstacle by ‘Donating to the Dream’.

We need to raise £600,000 to Purchase the Country House & Grounds and set up the Retreat.

We’ve Created a variety of Creative Ways to ‘Support & Donate’ Pure Joy Retreat. These include:

The Greatest Journey of My Life Started in 2003 when I made the Best Decision of My Life ‘To Follow Jesus’

Since making that Decision I've been on an Amazing Journey of Discovery and I've Enjoyed Many Wonderful Experiences.

Before I made that Decision I spent the first 24 years of my life living the 'Boring' life of 'worldly ways', copying others and trying to 'Fit In'.

I made Many Mistakes because I was following 'People' instead of Jesus. There are Always 'Negative Consequences' with that way of living and I had to 'face' many of them.

I was 'Trapped' by 'the world' but didn't realise it. I 'Thought' I was living a great life, but I was being 'Deceived'. I was Trapped.

When I made the Decision to 'Follow Jesus', things got 'Better'.

~ Jesus Set Me Free ~

It's been an Amazing Journey that keeps getting Better and Better.

A Thankful Heart.
There are 2 people who I'm Extremely Grateful to for this Wonderful Journey.

The 1st and Most Important person is Jesus Christ. I can't even think of any words to describe my Gratitude for what Jesus has Done for me. Words are Simply Not Big Enough.

The Only Way to express my Love & Thankfulness is by the Way I Live My Life. That is the Way God Created Me To Live, ~ Jesus's Way ~ 

I know that will Mean More to Jesus than Any amount of Words.

The 2nd person who I'm Grateful to is Robert Harold Schuller. He is the person who Guided me to Jesus and helped me to Understand who God & Jesus actually are.

Robert Harold Schuller was the Founder of the 'Hour of Power' which was the First ever TV Church Service. He was Very Encouraging and Full of Positive Possibility Thinking. His Joy & Enthusiasm was very Inspiring.

I'm Truly Grateful to Robert Harold Schuller for Leading me to Jesus, and I'm now Blessed with Enjoying a Loving & Close Relationship with God's Own Son.

The Hour or Power now continues with Roberts Grandson 'Bobby Schuller' who is continuing to Inspire with Positive Possibility Thinking and Leading people to Jesus.

Bobby and the Hour of Power team have Very Kindly made it Possible for people to now watch Roberts Harold Schuller's Inspiring Messages on YouTube with the 'Hour of Power Classics'.
(I Encourage You to watch them and Be Inspired).

The Best Decision.
My Journey with Jesus was Inspired by the Hour of Power, but it only 'Started' when I made the Decision myself 'To Follow Jesus'. 

The Decision I made was actually that I wanted to 'Become a Decent Person'. But I knew what that meant. It meant 'Getting Rid' of my Wrong Ways of Living and Replacing them with the 'Right Ways' of Living ~ Jesus's Way ~ 

At first it felt a bit strange getting rid of things I'd been Doing for so long, but now I've 'Done It', I just Wish I'd 'Done It' Sooner.

I've now got More Joy, Excitement, Happiness, Enthusiasm, Peace & Freedom in My life than I 'Ever' had before.

Journeying with Jesus really Is 'the Greatest Journey of Your Life'.

Free eBook ~ Journeying with Jesus ~ 1st Year Anniversary of Self Publishing.

To Celebrate the 1st Year Anniversary of Self Publishing the Book 
'Journeying with Jesus, The Greatest Journey of Your Life',
we're sending this Free eBook to as many people as we can
'All Around The World'.

The Book started out as a 1 page Inspirational Writing that I wrote back in 2012.
Then in 2021 I felt God Guiding me to turn it into a Book.

I originally planned to write it as an 8 page Booklet with some pictures.
As I started to write and design it, I felt God Guiding me to Create an Experience 
for the reader to take them on a Journey with Jesus.
The 8 pages soon Grew into a 32 page Illustrated Book.

Whilst designing it, God then Guided me to write some Easy to Understand and Helpful Writings
using Insights from my Own Personal 'Journey with Jesus'
and Sharing the Wonderful and Helpful things I Learned from Inspirational and Godly people. 
The result is this 64 page Pocket Book.

As with All of God's Wonderful Ideas that He gives to us,
He Plants the Seed and then Nourishes it to Grow and Flourish.

From the Book, God then Guided me to set up the 'Journeying with Jesus' website
where He has Guided me to write many Inspirational Writings including
~ Christmas Advent
~ 12 Days of Christmas
~ Lent
~ Easter
and most recently the Weekly 'Trio of Positive Posts'
~ Bible Verses to Live By
~ Pure Positive Guidance
~ Inspirational Sayings. 

I've been Truly Amazed at how these writings have been read All Around The World.

When I first wrote the 1 page Inspirational Writing back in 2012, 
I had no idea of the Wonderful things that would come from it.

It just shows that when you simply Follow God's Guidance and 'Do His Will'
then He will Bless you in Wonderful Ways.

Whilst writing and designing the Book I said this Prayer:
"Thank You God for Trusting me with Your Book.
Please Live through my Hands, Mind and Heart to 
Create this Book how You would like it to be Wrote and Designed.
May Your Will Be Done Lord.
Amen".

I Truly Believe this is God's Book and I would Not have been able to 
create it without God's Loving Guidance. 

I Give God All the Praise and Glory,
and I'm Sincerely Grateful to Him.

Discover New & Exciting Things

  Advent is a Great Time to Discover New Things about Jesus. 

No matter whether you're new to Faith or a Life Long Christian, there's Always something New & Exciting to Learn & Discover.

If you're New to Faith then Advent is a Wonderful Time to start Reading the Bible.
It's best to start with the New Testament and read the Gospels first (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).

The first 2 Chapters of 'Matthew and Luke' describe the Birth of Jesus (The Nativity) and Advent is a Special Time to read these.

God has Blessed us with the Wonderful Gift of Imagination. Use this Gift to Imagine what it was like for the people who were there at The Original  Nativity.

Maybe Imagine Yourself as one of the Shepherds who were out in the Fields looking after their Sheep. When Suddenly an Angel appeared to them and said that a Baby had just been Born who will Save All people from their wrong ways of living, and that they will 'Find Him' in a Manger.

Imagine what it must have felt like to make a 'Choice' to 'Go and Search' for Someone Who Will Save You. ~ That's Faith.

Imagine the Excitement of when they Discovered Baby Jesus in a Manger, just like the Angel had said to them.

Imagine the feeling of Joy, Amazement and Wonder as they Realised that 'God had Communicated Directly to Them' and 'Guided' them to Jesus. WOW.

You too can Experience that feeling of 'Pure Joy' when you 'Search for Jesus' and 'Find Him'.

God Guided the Shepherds, He Will Guide You as Well.
