~ Checking the Mail ~

If you use email you will probably check your 'Inbox' regularly to look for important messages. 

If you leave it for too long without checking it then you could end up  missing important emails.

A far more Important thing to check is the messages God sends to Your Mind everyday.

You need to regularly 'Log In' through Prayer and open the 'Inbox' of Your Mind to receive the messages that God sends You. 
If you don't then you could easily miss some important information that God is trying to communicate to You.

When you have received Your message from God you can then 'Reply' through Prayer and Thanks giving.

Sometimes it's good to 'Forward' the message to others and Share the Blessing that God has given you.

Regularly check the Inbox of Your Mind
for 'God's Mail'
and stay in communication with 
Your Loving God.

~ Baptism ~

Many people are Baptised as a baby (also known as Christening).

It's Good to be Baptised as babies because we're Welcomed into 'God's Family' at the Beginning of our Lives, which gives us a Good Start to Life.

The problem though is that when we're Baptised as a baby, it's not from our 'Own Personal Choice'.

Because we didn't make a 'Personal Choice' to Follow Jesus 'Ourselves' then we can often get 'Misled' by the 'ways of the world'.

This happened to me in my early teens and I ended up making Many Mistakes and Wasting a Lot of my Life living in the 'wrong way'.

Thankfully in my mid 20's  I came across the Wonderful & Inspiring 
'Hour of Power' (TV Church), and I was Blessed with Learning the Truth about who God & Jesus 'Really Are', instead of the Corrupted version of who the 'world' says they are.

My Wonderful 'Journey with Jesus' began and my Life started to be Transformed for the Better. (The story of my Journey is on our website under the title 'My Journey').

After my Wife and I got Married we both wanted to Grow in our Faith and to Enjoy a more Meaningful Relationship with God & Jesus.

We Decided we would Love to be Baptised as Adults. 
We had been Baptised/Christened as babies but we felt we wanted to make the 'Personal Choice' Ourselves as Adults.

There are different ways to be Baptised. Some people like to be fully immersed in water and some people prefer to have water sprinkled on their forehead. Some Baptisms are in Churches, some are outdoors in Rivers or Lakes. It doesn't matter how or where you're Baptised, the Important thing is that you make a Genuine Commitment to God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit, and that you are Faithful to that Commitment.

My Wife and I were Very Blessed with a Wonderful Baptism. It was an Evening Baptism just for the two of us, and the Vicar 'Very Kindly' let us make it Personal to us. It was Meaningful & Special for us.

As well as the Baptism we decided to go on a short holiday to the Beautiful Highlands of Scotland so we could spend 'Quality Quiet' time with God & Jesus, as we both feel 'Closest to God' when Surrounded by Nature.

We stayed in a wooden lodge overlooking Loch Tay, and spent a Lot of time walking around the Beautiful Countryside.

We stopped at a Lovely Loch (Lake) surrounded by Mountains and Trees and there was nobody there but us.

We spent some Lovely time Together, and then I went for a short Quiet walk. I noticed a small Fishing Boat that someone had left moored on the Loch Shore. I stood there thinking about the different times when the Disciples had been Fishing and were with Jesus on the Shore of a Lake.

I was Imagining what it must have been like for them to have actually been 'With Jesus' in Person. As I stood there I felt an Amazing Sense as though Jesus was stood there 'With Me'.

It was a Wonderful Experience of Pure Peace, Love & Joy. It was such an Amazing feeling that no words can describe it well enough.
It's a Wonderful Memory that I Treasure, and it Fills me with Joy.

As I'm writing this, I realised that because I made a Genuine Commitment to Jesus, I was Blessed with a Wonderful Experience 'With Him'.

Whatever your level of Faith is, I Encourage You to make 
Your Own 'Personal Choice' to be Baptised,
 and make a Genuine Commitment to God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit.

I Truly Believe that You will then be Blessed with
' Your Own' Wonderful Experience 'With Them'.

~ Joyful Spirit ~

Your circumstances don't need to effect how happy you are. 
It's easy to blame your circumstances for being in a bad mood, but it's not your circumstances that determine Your Happiness. 

There are many people who seem to have a 'Great Life' with no problems, everything they want, no worries, but they can be very 'unhappy'.

On the other hand there are people with disabilities, health problems, money issues, and lots of other things that could be considered to make people unhappy, yet they seem to Rise Above it all and have a Joyful Spirit.

How do they do it ? 

Well it's all to do with your 'Attitude'.

If you're a 'negative' thinking person who always 'looks' for the bad things, then it doesn't matter what your circumstances are, you will be unhappy. 

If you have a 'Positive' attitude and 'look' at the good things in your life (which we all have lots of good things if we take an honest look), then your Spirit is Lifted, you Rise Above your circumstances.

Studies have shown that when we Laugh (and Smile) our bodies release Natural Substances that Help us Heal in Mind, Body & Soul.

With a Positive Attitude to our problems we can still laugh even in difficult circumstances and bad situations.

It's not that we should laugh 'At' the problem, it's being able to Laugh even with the problem.

God doesn't want us to be miserable just because we've got problems.
He wants us to be Joyful no matter what our circumstances are.

Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of 
'Good Cheer', I have overcome the world.”

My Dad has a Positive Attitude with Laughter even though his circumstances are Very difficult.

He has had 4 heart attacks, 2 bi-pass operations, a stroke which left his left arm paralysed and unable to walk more than a few feet at a time, he has limited vision, arthritis, severe back pain and a Lot of other health problems.

If he looks at his problems with a Negative Attitude, it makes him very unhappy and drains his energy which makes his situation worse.

But when he looks at his Life with a Positive Attitude and is Grateful to God for Simply Being Alive, then he Rises Above his circumstances and is able to do more with a Joyful Spirit.

Even with all his difficult circumstances, he has a Joyful Spirit and Laughs a Lot. My Dad has a Great saying 'Laughter is Better than any medicine'.

If you focus on your problems, they will bring you down.
If you Focus on God, He will Lift You Up. 

God will never allow you to be in a situation that you can't handle.

With that in mind then no matter what your circumstances are,
you can be Positive and Enjoy Your Life with a
Joyful Spirit.
