~ Joyful Spirit ~

Your circumstances don't need to effect how happy you are. 
It's easy to blame your circumstances for being in a bad mood, but it's not your circumstances that determine Your Happiness. 

There are many people who seem to have a 'Great Life' with no problems, everything they want, no worries, but they can be very 'unhappy'.

On the other hand there are people with disabilities, health problems, money issues, and lots of other things that could be considered to make people unhappy, yet they seem to Rise Above it all and have a Joyful Spirit.

How do they do it ? 

Well it's all to do with your 'Attitude'.

If you're a 'negative' thinking person who always 'looks' for the bad things, then it doesn't matter what your circumstances are, you will be unhappy. 

If you have a 'Positive' attitude and 'look' at the good things in your life (which we all have lots of good things if we take an honest look), then your Spirit is Lifted, you Rise Above your circumstances.

Studies have shown that when we Laugh (and Smile) our bodies release Natural Substances that Help us Heal in Mind, Body & Soul.

With a Positive Attitude to our problems we can still laugh even in difficult circumstances and bad situations.

It's not that we should laugh 'At' the problem, it's being able to Laugh even with the problem.

God doesn't want us to be miserable just because we've got problems.
He wants us to be Joyful no matter what our circumstances are.

Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of 
'Good Cheer', I have overcome the world.”

My Dad has a Positive Attitude with Laughter even though his circumstances are Very difficult.

He has had 4 heart attacks, 2 bi-pass operations, a stroke which left his left arm paralysed and unable to walk more than a few feet at a time, he has limited vision, arthritis, severe back pain and a Lot of other health problems.

If he looks at his problems with a Negative Attitude, it makes him very unhappy and drains his energy which makes his situation worse.

But when he looks at his Life with a Positive Attitude and is Grateful to God for Simply Being Alive, then he Rises Above his circumstances and is able to do more with a Joyful Spirit.

Even with all his difficult circumstances, he has a Joyful Spirit and Laughs a Lot. My Dad has a Great saying 'Laughter is Better than any medicine'.

If you focus on your problems, they will bring you down.
If you Focus on God, He will Lift You Up. 

God will never allow you to be in a situation that you can't handle.

With that in mind then no matter what your circumstances are,
you can be Positive and Enjoy Your Life with a
Joyful Spirit. 

~ Fragile Yet Powerful ~

I was looking at a Tree outside our front window and noticed a Butterfly land on one of the leaves.

It stood there opening and closing its Delicate & Fragile Wings whilst warming itself in the sun.

Then the wind started Blowing and the leaves were going up and down in the wind. As the Butterfly stood on the leaf, the wind became Gusty, blowing its Fragile wings and bending them in all directions.
It looked like it was going to be Blown Away quite a few times.

Yet even though the wind was Blowing hard on its wings, the Butterfly stood there 'Firm & Strong'.

Its Tiny little legs were no bigger than a human hair, yet they held it on the leaf 'Solid & Strong'. 

The wind kept Blowing, yet the Butterfly 'Stood Firm'.

After a while the Butterfly took off and started flying around. 
Even though the gusts of wind kept Blowing, the Butterfly was Not being 'Blown Around' by the wind. It was flying 'Into The Wind'.

The Butterfly was Not being 'Tossed About' by the gusts. It had Purpose & Direction, it knew where it was going, and it Didn't let the wind stop it. 

As I watched this Inspiring Butterfly I realised that even though it was Fragile & Delicate, God had 'Created' it to 'Withstand the Wind'.

When God Deigned the Butterfly He put 'Inbuilt Power' in it.

God's Creativity is so Amazing that He can Create something that's 
Fragile Yet Powerful.

If you are feeling Fragile for whatever reason, whether Physically, Mentally or Emotionally, you can be Assured that God has Created You with 'Inbuilt Power'.

When God Designed You, He Designed You to 'Withstand Whatever is Blown at You'.

He Didn't Create You to be 'Blown Around' and 'Tossed Too & Fro'. 

God Created You to Stand Firm, Solid & Strong.

So Live Your Life with Purpose & Direction,
Knowing where You're going as the 
Person God Created You to Be,
and Don't let Anything or Anybody stop You.

God's Creativity is so Wonderful 
that no matter how Fragile you may feel,
You still have 'Immense Power' Within You.
